Streets In The Sky

University Project

2026

This calendar approaches time through a brutalist lens, emphasizing its rigid, linear progression. Designed as a building, each floor represents a month and each room a day, forcing the user to move forward only, without the ability to go back or skip ahead. The structure has no front door, symbolizing that the only true entrance to a year is the day you are born, and begins at the back like a stacked floor plan. Its brutalist aesthetic echoes the imposing, often intimidating nature of brutalist architecture, reinforcing the calendar’s sense of inevitability and constraint.
