While I'm still refining this project, I felt it was essential to showcase my latest masterpiece.

The brief? To showcase power through typography. The result.. an incredibly unique calendar inspired by brutalism.

I tackled this project with an immense amount of research and planning, and I'm absolutely over the moon with the development and result.

I actually designed my very own take of a brutalist building for this project. This calendar explored the linear flow of time, through the lens of brutalism. Throughout the year, you will progress through the building, with each floor being a month and each room being a day. The calendar's layout is just a gentle reminder that there is not going back.

You can see from February's page that unlike your normal calendar, you actually find that every other week is flipped, this was a conscious decision to ensure that you each day is next to each other, if you were travelling through this building as intended, you wouldn't be able to just appear six rooms down!

The calendar comes with a model of the building to use as a placeholder for the days too!
